_________ Paint a Canvas with your favorite farm animal. Kids go home with a 8x10 canvas painted by an animal of their choice. Canvas and paint put in Ziplock and then molasses put on outside of bag.. animal eats the molasses and designs an abstract painting at the same time. It gets messy but lots of fun. (Add $6 per child)
__________Pinecone Bird Feeders (add $25 for this craft for up to 10 kids and $2 for each additional child. This is an activity and a craft. We will go look for pinecones in the woods and then decorate them with peanut butter and bird seed)

Birthday Party Guidelines Agreement
I agree to abide by all terms and conditions set forth in the Birthday Party Guidelines Agreement and that failure to adhere to these regulations will incur financial penalties and possible legal actions.
Please read this carefully and be aware that in signing up and participating in this program/activity, you will be expressly assuming the risk and legal liability and waiving and releasing all claims for injuries, damages or loss which you or your minor child/ward might sustain as a result of participating in any and all activities connected with and associated with this program. I recognize and acknowledge that there are certain risks of physical injury to participants in this program/activity, and I voluntarily agree to assume the full risk of any and all injuries, damages or loss, regardless of severity, that my minor child/ward or I may sustain as a result of said participation. I further agree to waive and relinquish all claims I or my minor child/ward may have (or accrue to me or my child/ward) as a result of participating in this program/activity against the farm including its officials, agents, program instructors, volunteers, and employees. I hereby authorize and give my consent to the district to photograph/video my child (or me), and without limitation, to use such photographs/video in connection with promoting/advertising the services, programs, without consideration of any kind. I have read and fully understand the above important information, warning of risk, assumption of risk, waiver and release of all claims, and photo/video authorization. If registering online or via email, my online signature shall substitute for and have the same legal effect as an original form signature.
DEPOSIT & PAYMENT
• 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the reservation. If you need to reschedule, we will try our best to work with you to find an alternate date/time. If you are unable to reschedule or accept credit toward a future party, you agree to forfeit your deposit. Rescheduling must be done 14 days in advance to retain a full credit unless we can book another event at your cancelled time.
• Remaining 50% plus add-ons, options and extra guests shall be paid upon arrival for event on day of party. Cash or check preferred. Credit cards can be processed but will incur an additional 3.5% credit card fee. Note all taxes, fees, and add ons will be collected before party begins on day of event or sooner.
• Please advise your guests and their parents to review the Equine Release /Waiver located at the bottom of every page on our website and attached to this form. Please make every effort to have all guests sign waivers prior to attendance. All guests without fully executed waivers will be included in the waiver above and considered your “ward” for this event.
• Please be sure that the party area is cleaned up, garbage is placed in the garbage cans and that the area is vacated by guests at the conclusion of the event. A $50 fee will be added if decorations are left and/or trash is not placed in the trash cans before departure.
• Birthday parties are held at covered area off barn close to the petting zoo and riding area unless another request is made. When inclement weather, party can be held in barn or pavilion.
• Each party reservation includes a 15-minute set-up and 15-minute clean-up time. Your party hostess will assist with this.
• Items including decorations or other event materials may not be left after your event.
I have read and fully understand the agreement and Equine Release and Waive of Liability and take full responsibility for all guests invited to this event. I understand that each guest should complete the Equine Release and Waiver. I have read and signed the attached waiver on behalf of all minors/wards and guests that have not completed their own individual waiver.

EQUINE RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
"Equine" means a horse, pony, mule, donkey, or hinny.
"Inherent risks of equine activities" means those dangers or conditions that are an integral part of engaging in an equine activity, including any of the following:
a. The possibility of an equine behaving in ways that may result in injury, harm, or death t persons on or around them.
b. The unpredictability of an equine's reaction to such things as sounds, sudden movement, unfamiliar objects, persons, or other animals.
"Participant" means any person, whether amateur or professional, who engages in an equine activity, whether or not a fee is paid to participate in the equine activity.
By signing this Equine Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement (Release), I represent that I have read this agreement and that I fully understand agreement. These Equine activities involve the risk of serious bodily injury including but not limited to permanent disability, paralysis and even death. I represent that I am in good health and in proper physical condition to participate in these activities. I understand the nature and risk of participating in Equine activities. I understand that this release is intended to include all activities whether on or off the equine.

AGREEMENT from Dawn Berard, Riptide Stables, 4220 Buck Drive, Castle Hayne, NC 28429, and I understand that I have given up substantial rights by signing it and have signed it freely and without any inducement or assurance of any nature. I intend this to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law which includes employees, officers and contract employees of Dawn Berard, Riptide Stables and agree that if any portion of this agreement is held to be invalid the balance, notwithstanding, shall continue in full force and effect. I further agree to indemnify, defend and hold Dawn Berard, Riptide Stables, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents, harmless from any liability relating to personal injury or injury to real or personal property of any kind arising out of the ordinary negligence, willful or wanton negligence, or intentional acts of the undersigned.
This Release is governed by the law of the State of North Carolina. By signing this agreement, I agree to be the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the state of North Carolina, and that the only venue for any legal proceedings shall be New Hanover County, North Carolina.
