DAY CAMP  

Riptide Stables is happy to open our gates to fun with our day camp throughout the Summer and on holidays and school vacations throughout the year. If you have an interest in a camp experience for a day or a week for your children and do not see a date listed below, please reach out. If we can accommodate you, we will! Our camp is open to kids aged 3-15.  Any age is welcome any day! We do break into smaller groups for some activities and everyone joins together for others. There are no more than 6 kids with one of our great counselors at any time.  

Riptide Rascal Summer Camp is named after one of our adorable miniature donkeys who is always a favorite with the kids.

Each day is filled with learning about and participating in life on a farm, interacting with the 8 miniature donkeys, 4 horses, and 2 ponies, learning all about the animals and how to care for them, grooming, feeding, and bathing the animals (and of course having fun with water in the Summer and crafts in the winter months at the same time), creating new friendships, with furry critters and other kids, crafts, pony rides and enjoying the outdoors. 

We typically start each day with feeding the animals and deciding who needs attention, grooming or maybe to be decorated with our fun colorful paint soap and then rinsed off (in the Summer) for a fun way to give a critter a bath. Everyone gets groomed. 

Depending on the weather we may saddle up Nemo or Stormy to teach our group how to “tack up” and then go for hand-led rides, go on a nature walk on our farm’s nature trail, or decide on a craft to do inside or outside. We will settle for lunch (kids bring their own packed lunches). We have a refrigerator and water and juice boxes available.  After lunch a few barn chores and more time with the animals.

We offer:

2-day camp on Tuesday & Thursday (of the same week) $150

3-day camp on Monday, Wednesday & Friday (of the same week) $200

5-day Monday – Friday $325

Camp is from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm each day unless specified as a different time during our Holiday camps. 

Early drop-off and late pick-up are available for an additional charge. Drop off at 8:30 am for an additional $15 per day. Pick up at 5 pm for an additional $30 a day

Camp fees of 50%  must be paid to reserve spots, remainder due 21 days prior to camp start date. Please note if you want to book for more than one child or more than one week, or have previously had an event with us or participated in our camp, we would be happy to offer you a special rate. Please reach out and ask. We are here to help. We can typically offer a camp session with 3 or more kids, so feel free to reach out to create your own camp! While we work on the calendar, please call or email for a quick reply and let us coordinate an event around your needs. Our camp team is ready to play!!
